Torreon Beverage Tastings

There’s nothing quite like a fine wine, smooth tequila or rich whiskey to pair with a delicious dinner meal. At Torreon, you can experience all three of these excellent choices with a variety of beverage tastings throughout the year. Here’s some information on our ongoing tasting events:

Wine Tastings

Torreon hosts about ten wine tastings each year, and they are open to all members. These tastings are complimentary, with the opportunity to purchase the featured wines after every event for a discounted price. Torreon chefs and vendors work diligently to create the perfect dinner specials to pair with the wines that are being presented. Summer tastings are especially popular and often feature exclusive barrels for Torreon members.

Tequila Tastings

There are a handful of tequila tasting dinners held at Torreon throughout the year. Brands like Don Julio, La Familia, Patron and 1942 are sampled by guests along with a specially crafted, five course meal. Representatives from different tequila brands will often be on-hand to give information on each drink, while walking guests through each offering.

Whiskey Tastings 

Along with tequila and wine, Torreon has the widest selection of whiskey in the Show Low/Pinetop area. Guests can experience Woodford Reserve and High West among countless others. With in-depth drink analysis and specialty food crafted by Torreon Grille chefs, Torreon members will get an experience to go along with their meal.
