Show Low Summers Bustling with Events

3 Min Read

Once Old Man Winter leaves town, Spring rolls in and Show Low comes alive with events and activities for Torreon members and guests. Residents venture back out to stroll the sidewalks of downtown and visitors flock to the expansive forest and near-perfect temperatures. We’re highlighting some of the most popular events to enjoy this summer in the premier White Mountain town.

Show Low Farmer’s Market

From May 11 through September 7, plan on spending your Saturday morning browsing the farmer’s market. Considered the best market in the Arizona White Mountains, there’s no shortage of fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, eggs, jellies and jams, baked goods as well as craft items, homemade soaps, jewelry and candles. There’s no shortage of gift ideas or foods to stock your kitchen.

Saturdays 10am-3pm

Downtown Show Low (Cooley Street between 9th and 11th St.)

Show Low Days

The best of Show Low is on display during this two-day event where visitors are invited to browse neighborhoods and learn about the businesses, non-profits, and community organizations right in their backyard. Each entity is asked to host events or activities to showcase what they bring to the Show Low community. Enjoy food vendors, entertainment and the opportunity to interact with those creating the pulse of Show Low.

Battle of the Bands and Vans

May the best band and food truck win! This increasingly popular event hosts two separate competitions at once: music and food. Visitors can enjoy a variety of music genres as nine bands each play a set of their music throughout the day. Nine food vans will also be competing at this year’s event. This event is a must so grab your blanket and lawn chairs and come out to Frontier Park.
