What’s better than golf and wine? Find out at Torreon’s Nine & Wine event, open to Torreon members, associate Torreon members, and their guests. The clinic encourages women to become involved or more involved in the game of golf.
To sign up, members can visit the Torreon Member Portal or call into the golf shop at 928-532-8000. Nine & Wine is open to all skill levels and is one of Torreon’s more casual ladies' golf events. There is no designated format for this event, so new golfers can experience an easygoing 9-hole round.
The optional clinic is run by both Christian Castrodad, head golf professional, and Matthew Bantly, Tournament Coordinator. Participants choose what they would like to work on and the professionals help them progress in that field (putting, chipping, swing fundamentals, etc.).
Each participant in the Nine & Wine event receives a drink voucher for a free glass of wine at the Torreon Grill following the round. The women are encouraged to hang out after the round and get to know each other while enjoying a glass of wine.
Attendance for Nine & Wine can range from 5 to 20 women, with varying skill levels.

Come early and participate in a 30-minute golf clinic at 2:15 with Christian Castrodad and Matthew Bantly.
Fee: $10 per attendee
Cost for Event: $25 inclusive
Total: $35 for Clinic, Golf and a Glass of Wine
Times:
2:15 – 2:45 p.m.: Optional Clinic
3 p.m.: Shotgun start on Tower or Cabin
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.: After completion of the round, join the group for some wine, dining and social hour.
Limit: 36 participants
