Torreon’s Director of Food & Beverage, Erin Hall, describes herself as a big foodie who loves trying new things and creating innovative menus for the Torreon Grille.
“I spend a lot of time in the kitchen with my daughter and granddaughter teaching them and enjoying the wonderful meals we create,” Hall said.
Hall, who focused on patisserie (pastry) and baking in culinary school, spent 18 years as a Food and Beverage Director for the top three food service companies in the nation, Aramark, Sodexo, and Chartwells. She said she traveled around the United States assisting with retaining accounts and building cohesive teams.
Hall was recently hired by Torreon as the Director of Food & Beverage.
“I grew up here and left over 30 years ago,” Hall said. “My dad has lived up here all along, so I have spent a lot of time here throughout the years. My son and his family recently moved up here and I wanted to be closer to my family, especially my grandkids.”
Hall recommends Torreon diners try her favorite dishes, the miso salmon and short rib stroganoff.
“Delicious,” she said.
Hall said she enjoys the atmosphere in and around Torreon.
“I love being in the mountains and the small-town feel here,” she said. “After living in the Valley for 30 years the weather here is amazing!”
