Torreon Gives Back

"Torreon Gives Back" throughout the year, as the members and staff of Torreon give generously of their time and financial committment to support White Mountain Charities. In addition to providing a wide range of in-kind services for Golf tournaments like the one for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, Torreon supports the Summit Healthcare Foundation, hosting its annual Denim and Diamonds Gala.

The Denim and Diamonds Ball was a wonderful occasion, and included an award-winning dessert contributed by Chef Mata and stunning decorations created by Torreon staff.

Torreon  Members Julie Marsland and Margie Stubin initiated the first Annual  "Talent of Torreon" Art show featuring Torreon Members, with a portion of the proceeds of the sale of their art work and photography benefitting the White Mountain Women's Club Charities.

A variety of wine-tasting events throughout the summer was another source support for the White Mountain Women's Club Charities. A portion of the sale of Torreon 10th anniversary wine glasses was donated to the WMWC.

Torreon's  first annual Chili Cook-off was another fabulous "Torreon Gives Back" success, and Torreon members contributed their wonderful chili concoctions and raised a substantial sum of money for the White Mountain Women's Clubs Charities.

Members Margie Shubin and Michelle Gregory helped stir up support for the event , which will be even bigger and better in coming years!

The White Mountain Women's Club serves a wide range of area charities by raising funds and giving grants to support numerous organizations, especially those who provide resources for women and children in need.

Torreon Members, friends and family who were so supportive of the "Torreon Gives Back" opportunities were a part of the bigger effort by these dedicated women, who provide between $30,000 and $40,000 each year to area agencies helping white mountain families in need.
