Talent of Torreon Art Show

June On June 13 and 14 Torreon launched its first "Talent of Torreon" Art exhibition at the Torreon Center.  Julie Marsland was the featured artist, and the show featured a large collection of her original oil paintings as well as giclees.

Julie's paintings reflect her many travels.  This painting was a big favorite, with lots of comments like "Oh, that's Catalina", or "Puerto Vallerta."

The Family Center engaged young artists who contributed their paintings as well. Margie Shubin's granddaughters, Gabriella and Emily shared their artist secrets with Julie Marsland. Lots of family members showed up to enjoy the work of our young artists.

Photogrpher Randay Miritello participated in the show, and all the artists contributed a portion of their sales to the White Mountain Women's Club Charities.

Candace Williams and Judy Palmer participated in the show as well.  The Art Wine and Music event featured a wine tasting that benefitted the Women's Club as well.

Classical guitar music was provided by the "Art of Music" duo.  Residents gathered in Juniper Park to enjoy the wine and music.

The Juniper Building and Park was a great setting to showcase the Talent of Torreon", and more shows are planned in the future.
